Thermocouple Extension & Compensating Cables
Compensating Cable / thermocouple Extension Cables are used in temperature measurement connecting the Thermocouple to the measuring instrument. Thermocouple Extension Cables uses the same alloy on the thermocouple while the Compensating Cable uses different alloy to provide positive & negative cores to match the components of those in the thermocouple element. Which have a hatched EMF Output over the appropriate temperature range.
Compensating Cable confirming IS, BS, ANSI, DIN & JIS specifications are manufactured.

P.T.F.E. insulated HR compensating cables are provided for use with temperature measuring thermocouples installed near rotary kilns and furnaces in Steel, Cement, Fertilizer, Chemical Plants, etc. They are best suited for installations where environmental temperatures are high. Overall SS wire braid is provided to increase the durability and strength of the cable.
